GEMS UIS presents Ecological Conservation Initiatives at COP28
The Conference of Parties (COP 28) taking place at Expo City Dubai serves as a critical platform where ideas, solutions, and commitments converge, paving the way for collective action to address pressing issues and shape a sustainable future for generations to come.
Amidst global discussions on climate action, we are immensely proud to share that GEMS UIS was nominated by The Ministry of Education (MoE) along with Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi (EAD) to present our Sustainable Success Stories at COP 28. Our dedicated Student Sustainability Ambassadors along with Teachers In charge connected with global climate leaders and other guests. The students zealously presented their groundbreaking initiatives for ecological conservation at the prestigious COP28 conference. The team drew inspiration from the HPL Values of VAA Concerned for Society and the HPL ACP Seeing Alternate Perspectives to stray away from hurdles in attaining their goals and Big Picture Thinking to analyze how to coordinate their efforts for the presentation.
As one of the leading Sustainable Schools in Abu Dhabi, we would like to extend our gratitude towards EAD for providing our students with this incredible opportunity to reach a larger global audience to display their ongoing journey as ambassadors for environmental conservation!
